Principles of Police Management and Supervision (2 hours)

This professional development program prepares law enforcement personnel to lead effectively at every stage of their careers, from self-leadership through team, organizational, and community responsibility. Built from the Principles of Police Management and Supervision foundation, it distinguishes management, leadership, and direct supervision while applying accountability, communication, ethics, performance management, coaching, and organizational change to police operations. Learners work through realistic supervisory decisions involving personnel, risk, critical incidents, documentation, and public trust. The program is designed as an asynchronous LMS experience with short narrated lessons, applied scenarios, reflection, knowledge checks, module assessments, and a leadership development capstone. Legal and policy content requires jurisdictional review before deployment.
